Heritage Blanket Trunk
This trunk was traditionally used as a dowry box during Indian weddings. The box would be passed around to collect gifts from the family of the bride, typically jewellery and textiles, to be presented to the lucky groom. It was discovered in a market in the walled historical city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
